Is there anyone who can say, with hand on heart, that they are not in awe of – or at the very least inspired by – the amazing diversity of scenery, climate, trees, plants, animals, fish and even insects that we are so privileged to be surrounded by on this beautiful planet of ours?

I have yet to come across such a person!

Why is it, then, that so many humans struggle to come to terms with the issue of diversity within our own species?

Life Coaching Opens Eyes

Life coaching can be described or explained in many ways.

Here’s one description that I coined:

“Life coaching involves a programme of sessions or mini-interventions that help empower individuals to grow and develop rapidly through exposure to tools and techniques that assist them to open their eyes to what really is possible for them to be do and have.”

What I like about this particular description is the reference to the ‘opening of eyes’ that takes place during coaching.

Effective life coaching can bring about dramatically positive changes in the lives of people simply by getting them to see themselves and the world around them from bright and exciting new perspectives.

Ten Steps To a Better You

Just the other day someone sent me an email thanking me for a Blog post that had resonated with them. I was about to send a brief reply with well wishes when I realised there was more to the message.

“Can you recommend ways in which I can better myself?”

“Boy,” I thought, “This is a tough one given that I don’t know the person concerned from a bar of soap!”

My mischievous nature felt inclined to respond: “Read a further nine blog posts” but then I reasoned that this person might not appreciate my taste in humour.

Then I thought: “If I’m going to invest the time to respond with something meaningful I may as well leverage that investment by creating a Blog post!”

So, dear readers, let me share my reply … Ten steps to a better you.

Think Yourself Happy

How often have you taken time out to reflect on just how incredible your mind is?

We humans have somewhere between 50,000 and 70,000 thoughts per day, or around 40 thoughts every minute. That’s quite staggering isn’t it!

Each thought is really a little impulse of energy. With over 7bn people on the planet processing come 60,000 thoughts each day that adds up to an awful lot of ‘thought energy’! Just imagine if there was some way to harness and direct it. Talk about a sustainable energy source!

Thoughts are the source of all creation. Nothing comes into being without somebody thinking about it first. But, as we have learnt from the Law of Attraction, it requires consistent, focused thought in order to manifest what is being thought about.

Most of us take our minds – and the constant stream of seemingly random thoughts that they dish up – for granted as we go about the business of keeping our heads above water in our frenetic day to day lives.

But what if we could learn to harness the power of our minds and bring more focus and intention to our thoughts?

Financial Abundance (Part 2)

In Part 1 of this post, we explored the idea that the biggest obstacle to enjoying financial abundance lies in the beliefs one holds about the subject of money, wealth and abundance.

Although at a conscious level you may feel that you are doing everything possible to achieve prosperity, there may be limiting beliefs ‘imprinted’ in your subconscious mind that are ’sabotaging’ your best efforts.

Simply put, there is cause (limiting beliefs about money) and resulting effect (lack of financial abundance).

For example, parents who struggled financially throughout life and who embodied a type of ‘poverty’ mentality to help them cope, may unwittingly have created the environment for their children to develop ‘imprints’ or subconsciously held beliefs that they too would always be destined to  struggle financially.

Let’s look at what it takes to achieve financial abundance.
